Sophie finds her 'forever home'

Sophie finds her 'forever home'

Sophie is a young female greyhound, just two years old, who arrived from Ireland in early June looking for her forever home.

Representatives from DAWG, the Bristol-based greyhound and lurcher rescue charity, met the Cooper family on a recent visit to Clifton Down Shopping Centre. Whilst there, the Cooper family expressed interest in adopting a greyhound. Although the charity usually only considers children of 8 years and over for taking in a dog, Imogen is such a lovely little girl who they could see had a huge respect for animals and a very gentle nature, so they were happy to involve the family in a re-homing proejct.

Sophie is now at her 'forever home' in what is a captivating story. We hope to bring you updates of Sophie and her new family over the next few months.
